Wow, what a bizarre few days...

Full of ups and downs..... pros and cons.... weirdness...

Pros:
- The Boi came home Tues night from India (yay!)
.
- Ozeyarn ran out of a sale yarn I ordered online, so they sold me a non-sale yarn (Jo Sharp DK Wool, in black) at the sale price.
.
- My Secret Pal Tea Cosy parcel arrived (thanks Amanda!) - photos below...
.
- Got to go out with 2 of my oldest friends on the weekend, havent seen them for months!

- KnitPicks Harmony! Yay!

Cons:
- The Boi came home sick. We think he got a food bug from touching his India stuff and then eating.

- One of my KnitPicks needles is brokened.

- I didnt get the place I had my heart set on in Summer Hill. It was cheap AND perfect.

- Being told I was 'damaged', by The Tool (an acquaintance's boyfriend). When we first me a few years ago, he told me and the GF that we were only gay because we hadnt met the right man (and intimated that he was it). Then on the weekend, he would not believe that I didnt find him sexy and immensly interesting. He also likes to think of himself as a 'Master', which I dont buy at all (the thought of him 'dominating' submissive women made me vomit in the mouth). Since I did not fawn all over him and agree with everything he said, I was 'damaged'.
Ew. Vomit in the mouth again.

So very weird indeed.

My Secret Pal rocked - she sent the MOST awesomest 1950's kitsch poodle toilet roll holder... I squeeled when I realised what it was! Not to mention the 1950's koala tea-cozy, the skull face cloth, the ball of black bamboo cotton and one of pink Boutique, and numerous chocies and morrocan green tea (my fav).

Here is a picture of the parcel - isnt it great??

Here's something that will make you laugh. When the Boi came through Customs (finally, we had been waiting for over an hour), he was barefoot. They took his shoes because they had India crud on them! I also presented him with a metre high, purple, shiny, welcome-back-home monkey ballon - he loved it!

Re: The Tool... I just laugh, flap my hands and say "Whatever..." and change the subject when fuckwits say things like this. Don't angst. They're not worth the energy.
