A Gay Cardigan, c.1939
Well, I know you're all aware of my love of anything described as 'gay' - so here's a lovely gay cardigan from the Bucilla Booklet "Handknits are High Fashion!", printed 1939.

Hey, I have found the coolest vintage 1940's sewing pattern for 'GAY SLIPPERS'on eBay for auction by seller "swanuk". Tried to copy and paste for you..but didn't work...but if you have the time go and check the pattern graphics out - way cool!! .... love your blog!
